Subas Nemwang abducted ?

December 1, 2008

Chairperson of Constituent Assembly (CA), Subas Nemwang made it clear that he was not abducted by Federal Limbuwan State Council (FLSC).

Organizing a press conference at his office Singha Durbar, Monday, he expressed surprise over the rumors of his abduction by FLSC cadres even while he was holding a cordial meeting with them.

Some television channels, FM radios and on-line media were transmitting news on his abduction by FLSC cadres in Chandragadhi today on the way back to capital from Ilam.

He also made it clear that some 15-20 FLSC cadres cordially stopped his vehicle at around 12 noon today for a while and urged him to reach their demand of autonomous Limbuwan state to the government.

“They cordially presented before me their grievances about non-implementation on the part of the government of their demand of autonomous Limbuwan state integrating nine districts of Mechi and Koshi despite various knockings and urged me to impart this message to the government”, said CA Chairperson Nemwang, adding that, “Ï have also assured them in this regard”.

All these things were discussed hardly in 10-minute talk; I left for Kathmandu from Chandragahdi where I reached there at 2 pm afternoon and arrived here at 2.30 pm via flight, said Nemwang. “And I do not know from where I was abducted”.

DREAMS

December 1, 2008

 BY ARATI SHARMA

 Dreams make you glorified

with stately position

of gratitude and desideration

Dreams, of course are vivid,

lavished and most cherished.

It infatuates you

into a world of mirage

and begs you to follow,

as it changes its shape.

But when it shatters

leaves you nothing

except sheer nothingness.

reality impeded with hinges

of desperation and loneliness.

With this the world

becomes black and  white,

your age leaving your life

time slipping through hands

and nowhere you can hide.

The vicinity of emptiness

embraces the broken heart

yet gives nothing

to your pacific eyes.

You cry, try to grasp

this life of nominal value

It is too late to decide

The tumults of your far cry

is pushing your life ahead,

You are already running

There is no time to see your

dreams behind.
